I am citizen of UK and got married in india on 12-05-2004.I came to india to resolve issues with my wife by talking to her parents and in return was jailed under 498a .I spent 5 days before being released on jail.My passport was impounded and only returned in june.Now I like to travel back but have heard that my wife has landed there in UK and that is worrying me.My relatived and I have been through hell and I have come out of depression undegoing medical treatment.Now i dont want to face all that again.
Please advice on how to make sure that she cannot harass me there.

Comments: I was married in 1995. I was constantly being harassed for dowry by my husband and in-laws. Always for more and more cash, gold and house hold items.
My husband never took my care even in my severe sickness.
He is a drunker and have all bad habits. My husband send me to my parents house in 1999. He used to visit here once year. Now from past 3 years he stopped coming. I have a daughter 7yrs old. Instead of sending me money he asks me. But never took any responsibility of the family. They are threatening to murder me and my parents through various relatives.

Now I would like to know that I have proof some of the money that we gave as dowry to them. Can I claim for that if I will apply for divorce? One of the lawyer told that as you are separated for a long period so you cant get any dowry back. Is this true? Kindly help me how can I get the dowry back if I apply for divorce. I would like to know the law regarding this.

Comments: got married, took to my work place, she started pinching me and my colleagus family, that i dont give enough time, then after 4 months her parents took her for pooja purpose from my work place, then after when i come back to kolkata, the next day police come to me and took me to the custody, FIR was launched against me, i was taken to the court and after that i was sent to jail, after being released from the jail, i sent her a divorce notice. she claimed that i have taken money from them, and many things, now kindly advice me what to do, or what step should i follow.

Comments: an officer in border security force. divorced. remarried my present wife who was also divorced(i didnt ask her any documents of proof though i am legally divorced by mutual consent)after checking out matrimonial sites.
i have a 3 year old son.
presently i am posted in bangalore for another 3 1/2 yrs.
she uses a hearing aid which is not a problem for me and i was aware of it before marriage.
she is very suspicious and keeps nagging at me even now about my life before mariage to her. too headstrong to listen to advice, proud and arrogant about her riches.
i keep bearing with the nagging for a few weeks and when i have enough of it i break a thing or two from the furniture of hurt myself to vent out my pain since i cant say anything to her.
that becomes my negative point in saying that i am provoked.
when ther is no peace at home…what can i do to achieve it.
she has little respect even to her own family members and abuses them for othing.
not to mention that the words she uses are pretty potent.
im concerned about my son. i have no issues cos im sure i can manage to get on with any kind of person. pls advise.
